Pat Robertson, Meet Danny Glover

Fools to the right of us, fools to the left of us, fools continue to volley and thunder.

Tell me again that AGW isn’t becoming a religion. Danny Glover opines on why the devastation in Haiti occurred:

GLOVER: When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?

Oh I know what you’re “sayin'”. And you’re as big a fool as Robertson for saying it. But I wonder if we’ll see this denounced by the White House as quickly as it denounced Robertson’s foolishness.

  • I caught this this morning and frankly, it hit me as being just as stupid as Robertson
It’s really just another religion, and Glover makes the case.
Clowns to the left of me,  Jokers to the right, here I am,  Stuck in the middle with you.

  • So…the Haiti earthquake, according to Danny, was Obama’s fault.  Just getting the story clear.  I mean, if he wasn’t able to get Copenhagen going, it must be his fault, at least according to Danny’s version of ‘reality’.

  • No one is going to denounce it.     There will be no clarifying statements issued by a spokes person.
    Just watch.

  • Iowahawk nailed it:

    “Fire make sea gods angry!”

  • Robertson’s remarks were discussed on an AM radio talkshow yesterday.  The curse on Haiti he was referring to had to do with the pigs sacrificed on the Catholic altars by Haitians to make a deal with Satan to get rid of the French during the colonial period.  The French left, and there has been the Devil to pay by Haiti ever since.  Apparently, it’s the Haitians themselves who believe they are cursed by the heresy and sacriflege of those ancestors.

    • That may be, but no proof of the “pact” exists. There was also supposed to be an iron pig statue that existed marking said “pact”. But while everyone seems to have heard of it, no one has ever confirmed it’s existence.
