Quote of the Day: Composite Obama edition

Heh … I think this sums it up pretty well. A sort of Ott Scerb like litany:

If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen because you’ve been a little lazy over the last couple of decades and you’ve lost your ambition, your imagination and your willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge, causing you to become bitter and cling to guns and religion and antipathy toward people who aren’t like you, and to act stupidly, just like a typical white person or our troops who are just air-raiding villages and killing civilians. Frankly, that’s why I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism, and that’s why it’s necessary for me to fundamentally transform America and spread the wealth around — just as soon as I get more flexibility in a second term.

In his own words.

  • Beautifully translated from the original Austrian. Sharp, biting…that could even leave a corpse, man…

  • Right along with Mark Steyn:

The Golden Gate Bridge? As Reason’s Matt Welch pointed out, the Golden Gate cost at the time $35 million — or about $530 million today. So, for the cost of Obama’s 2009 stimulus bill alone, we could have had 1,567 Golden Gate Bridges. Where are they? Where are, say, the first dozen?
If you laid 1,567 Golden Gate Bridges end to end, you’d have enough for one Golden Choom Bridge stretching from Obama’s Punahou High School in Honolulu over the Pacific all the way to his Occidental College in Los Angeles, so that his car-chooming chums can commute from one to the other without having to worry about TSA patdowns.

    Howz them roads comin’?

    • Come on now, there was no infrastructure spending in The Great Theft. It was a one trillion dollar slush fund to pay off all the democrat party cronies and union pals.

      • You no doubt would be little surprised to find out how much of that “infrastructure” over the past 50 years and beyond was a reward to political cronies and union pals (and those union guys made $28 an hour for semi-skilled labor at best, to lean on shovels and scratch their asses, pick their noses…).
I doubt Obama was referring to roads built specifically for something such as enhancing access to some cronies shopping mall, etc.

        • When he says “you didn’t do that yourself” he’s reminding the union bosses and his contributors where their recent fortunes came from……Him.

  • Very good, even if it is a bit of the NBC treatment

  • I didn’t know what an Ott Scerb was, so I checked. Interestingly, his Gravitar picture is labeled Narcissism and his mouth has the bright red slash look of Heath Ledger’s Joker in “Dark Knight.” Can we conclude that ottscerb is James Holmes all ready for action?

    • nah, but I think probably Ott might take this opportunity to pick another avatar at this point. I suggest some kind of keffiyeh to celebrate his wisdom about Arab Springs.

  • You left off from the end …

And for this, I have to apologize …. FORE !

  • Edited version.

    • can’t fool you, well, unless it’s edits done by journalist professionals working for the various ‘non partisan’ networks or by the Obama campaign.
