  • So, how much can a Scott Brown attempt at the Republican nomination take away from Christie ?

  • The MB in Egypt is not Shia, but Sunni. You would think the Wahabbist rulers of Saudi Arabia would thus support the MB, but they do not at all, because KSA has its own Sunni radicals who wish to remove the royal family’s rule over Saudi Arabia. Its good to be the King…or a prince. Its not so good when the mullahs are in control and beheading your nephews cuz they went to Majorca and partied down.
But the Saudis also have a restive Shia minority, which is why the Saudis DO side with the Sunni Islamists in Syria against the sorta Shi’ite Alawites and their Shi’ite Iranian backers.
Seriously, the region is like something the Intellectual in a Princess Bride would come up with….
