One Response to Observations: The QandO Podcast for 11 Mar 16

  • I disagree with Trump’s problems against Hillary. In Michigan, the polls Hillary was in the lead. That’s because you they know if you are a Democrat or Republican, you’re voting is public record. So they polled Democrats about Democrats and Republicans about Republicans. Trump wasn’t suppose to do as well as he did, either. My theory, Bernie won and Trump did better than expected because the Democrats that picked Hillary in the polling, switched and voted for Trump. Not a deliberate screwing with the Republicans but because he genuinely appeals to them over their own choices.

There’s a lot of denigration of Right as low class but a lot of people who supported Bill Clinton supported him because he was a personal douchebag and got away with it. Trump is the a similar kind of ‘get away with it’ personal douchebag and that’s who he will pull along with those who don’t want “fingers on the chalkboard when she speaks” Hillary. The poll prediction made no accounting for defection. If you’re in the media would you want to advertise such defection? The Left wouldn’t want the rest of the Left to know and the Republicans don’t want anyone in their camp to believe Trump can beat Hillary. So who wants to point this out?
