Just watch – and don’t try to tell me afterwards that it is due to “market failure”:

Nope; nothing to see here.  Let’s move along, folks…  Oh, and don’t forget to pick up your tax forms as you file out in orderly fashion.  April is just around the corner…!!!  You’ll see them on the tables just under Mr. Soros’ portrait.

Nothing to see here, move along!

    I have only one question:

How can I get in on this sort of thing???

Oh, wait… I don’t have a relative who’s (A) a big-shot banker and / or (B) a cabinet secretary, nor am I “too big to fail” so Uncle Sugar has no interest in giving me other people’s money.  Sucks to be me.

    / sarc (sort of)

If this sort of deal was made without Uncle Sugar’s involvement / approval, the people involved would likely be going to jail.  As it is, however, they are laughing all the way to the bank.

No wonder reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac never occurred during the last Congress

    This sounds bad…is it acurrate?

Where is the national media on this?  Right, I know. I don’t really need to ask.

I wonder how you yanks are going to dig yourselves out of this hole.

I suppose you can always print more money, right? Being the worlds’ reserve currency will insulate you from the worst of the inflation that will result…yes?
