There was an incident of terrorism today in the United States.  A doctor was shot and killed in a church by a right-wing terrorist.

    In a church.

And if you can’t say it correctly, you will be shot too.  Imagine for just one moment that someone to the left of center had shot and killed a professional for political reasons.

Oh yes.  That doesn’t happen.  Sick.   What’s with the hate?

  • dude09 says:

Strange.  Normally this site comments about incidents of terrorism.

  • Dale Franks says:

    Dude;

Couple of things.  You’re a first-time commenter, so your assessment of what this site usually comments on is pretty much useless.  I have no confidence that you know anything about this site, or have even visited it before.

Second, maybe nobody commented on it because we don’t know anything about it.  I know for sure I don’t  I have no earthly idea what you’re talking about.

Third, nobody but me decides what I write on, and your suggestions about what should interest me literally could not be of any less concern to me than they were before I heard of you this afternoon.

    So, stuff it.

Actually, Dale, I think you do know who “dude09″ is.  I’m pretty sure it’s our old friend mkultra.  If you cross-reference the IP addresses, I’m reasonably certain they will match.  They’ll at least be from the Portland, OR area.

Trust me, I have been visiting this site for years.  I can even remember when Henke was a regular contributor.

“Second, maybe nobody commented on it because we don’t know anything about it.  I know for sure I don’t  I have no earthly idea what you’re talking about.”

Maybe,  But there is this thing called the Google.  You might want to look into it.     Â

This blog comments on matters of political/economic/social concerns. As I have said, I have visited for years and I have seen many posts here about terrorism.  Sometimes, the absence of commentary says more about the posters’ concerns than the presence.

    Sad.  In a church.

So you have a blog where we can read your sterling commentary on the matter then?  If not, it’s more than a little bit hypocritical to scorn someone for what they didn’t write.

Nonsense.  Pure nonsense.  And I would explain what the word hypocrisy means, but that would be an exercise in futility, obviously.

Look, this site takes positions on issues and invites comments.  If you are going to do that, then expect criticism.  And if, as this site does, you are going to rail against religious fundamentalism, then be principled about it.  Call out all the nut jobs, or none at all.

Hypocrisy?  Do you need a lesson?

  • MichaelW says:

For you to explain something that you clearly don’t understand would certainly be an exercise in futility.

By the way, you realize this is a libertarian-leaning blog, right? I mean, I think all of us who blog here are more or less pro-choice. So what’s your point, exactly? Other than a display of your ignorance?
