Coakley campaign: Feel the excitement… (with update, Brown wins)
I noticed this ad for Coakley, with Obama as the star. Here’s a still from the beginning of the video:

Wow, those Coakley supporters are just radiating enthusiasm, aren’t they?
I did see a smile on one older woman later in the ad. I think she shows up in two places. Otherwise, it’s nothing but glum phizzes all the way through the ad, except for perfunctory smiles by Coakley herself.
Does this mean anything? I don’t know. But the pictures of Brown rallies I’ve seen certainly seem to show more enthusiasm.
** Update 8:20 PM CST **
Guess it did mean something. Fox just called it for Brown, and Coakley has conceded in a phone call to Brown. 70% of vote in, Brown leads by almost 7%.

When I watched this live, it looked lifeless.
I think the lighting makes it look worse.
Do they typically leave off the Presidential seal at political events or some thing ?
I have children and after watching the video I offer my expert opinion: it was not a smile it was gas.

No doubt, the guy standing behind the camera was holding the “SMILE” placard upside-down.
Nothing says excitement like NO TIE.
I dont see one smile in the bunch. They look about as lifeless as manequins.

I glanced at the picture and wondered why the women on either end look blurred. Then I realized…Obama’s teleprompter! LOL! Nothing says enthusiasm like prepared remarks.

Sorry for the language.
Quite simply a vote on the aggressive lib policies in DC but they wont ever admit it
Brown’s Margin of victory is almost identical to Obama’s. Not a blowout but decisive enough (and outside the margin of ACORN).
