Hugo Chavez Accuses US Of Causing Haiti Earthquake

You may remember the post I did entitled “Haiti: Let The Conspiracy Theories Begin” where I jokingly cited a website which immediately blamed the initial Haiti earthquake on the US (supposedly it was aimed at Cuba and missed).  The supposed instrument of this US attempt is its HAARP facility in the area.  HAARP is an antenna array.  The acronym stands for “High Frequency Active Aural Research Program”.  It explains itself like this:

HAARP is a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes.

A antenna array aimed at the ionosphere is able to create earthquakes at will according to the black helicopter crowd.

However, they aren’t the only ones, apparently, who buy into this conspiracy theory. Of course you have to understand – believing in such nonsense isn’t particularly hard for someone who thinks authoritarian socialism is superior to freedom, capitalism and democracy. And Hugo is just such a believer:

Chavez is blaming the US for causing the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti as part of testing a “tectonic weapon” that can cause eco-type disasters, according to Russia Today. The Latin American leader added that the US should “stop playing God.”
Chavez said these “weapon earthquakes” would eventually be used against Iran and be taken over by the US military.

Chavez says these weapons can alter the climate and set off earthquakes and volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.

Although Chavez did not reveal his source, Press TV reports the Venezuelan media are reporting the earthquake may be associated with the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), which has been accused of generating violent and disastrous changes in climate.

So far the foreign policy initiative of reaching out to all of these little tin pot dictators who don’t like the US is paying off handsomely, I’d say.

Sometimes an anti-American whackadoodle is just that. And it is never in their best interest to mend fences since being anti-American is critical to their retention of power.

  • Chavez and Obama we’re allies of sorts, weren’t they?

  • Chavez is getting too close.  Time to aim the Insta-Quake Device™ at Venezuela.

  • This must all be tied into AGW .. they call it “Shake-n-Bake

  • Hugo Chavez is Venezuela’s ideo/theological priest of the apocalypse; Al Gore is our’s.

  • Hugo was wrong. It wasn’t a test.

  • Alright, another show for sometimes libertarian Jesse “The Mind” Ventura.

  • I believe the device used is the same one that President Bush used to hit New Orleans with Katrina.

  • Speaking of earthquakes …

The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders. Dr Murari Lal also said he was well aware the statement, in the 2007 report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), did not rest on peer-reviewed scientific research.

Dr Lal said: ‘We knew the WWF report with the 2035 date was “grey literature” [material not published in a peer-reviewed journal]. But it was never picked up by any of the authors in our working group, nor by any of the more than 500 external reviewers, by the governments to which it was sent, or by the final IPCC review editors.

This pretty much funks the the whole IPCC

  • If you do your own research over the internet, you will only find a video referring to the spanish paper ABC “quoting Chavez saying that blah blah…” – but no Chavez’s own words. The whole thing started from an anonymous article (most probably copy pasted from a russian newspaper) in state owned Vive tv site, http://bit.ly/7YDKKv, which is by no means a declaration by the president of Venezuela himself. Spanish paper ABC attributed that to Chavez himself so as to ridicule and expose him as paranoid, and apparently, that’s where all other media copied the story from. See also: http://bit.ly/5xdPQC

  • Well, there is always enough conspiracy theories, but on this very subject it is not a crazy idea. Please, read the book project HAARP, in Alaska (about the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program). You will grasp some interesting facts.
The eco-weapons has been long time ago a sweet dream for the Pentagon. In fact, on 1997 the Defence Secretary, William Cohen, declared in front of a Congress’s Committee that such weapons, like those able to start earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, were already available and he was asking urgent investments to develop the US version of it. He did so with these words: “Others are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves”.

Just remember that the Pentagon already has the bomb just-kill-people, leaving behind intact all the infrastructures.

Please, search for Tesla devices. They use Scalar Field energies, sometimes called Zero-Point energies. The science involved here tries to interact directly with Unified Field Energy and it can be used for useful purposes as well as for really potentially destructive purposes.

Please also check out this Department of Defense document (http://www.defense.gov/transcripts/transcript.aspx?transcriptid=674) and this Fas.org document (http://www.fas.org/spp/eprint/coble.htm), both of which confirm US government acknowledgment of weather modification weaponry use.

How knows, maybe Chavez is right again.

    • We’ll just skip over the fact that the average lightning bolt has considerably more power than anything HAARP can even remotely produce.
      And Cohen’s quote?
Was related to ‘scares’, not a quote that such a weapon existed – full context, judge for yourselves…
Q: Let me ask you specifically about last week’s scare here in
Washington, and what we might have learned from how prepared we are to
deal with that (inaudible), at B’nai Brith.

A: Well, it points out the nature of the threat. It turned out to be a
false threat under the circumstances. But as we’ve learned in the
intelligence community, we had something called — and we have James
Woolsey here to perhaps even address this question about phantom
moles. The mere fear that there is a mole within an agency can set off
a chain reaction and a hunt for that particular mole which can
paralyze the agency for weeks and months and years even, in a search.
The same thing is true about just the false scare of a threat of using
some kind of a chemical weapon or a biological one. There are some
reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to
construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very
dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written
about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to
devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic-specific so
that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and
others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects
that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an
eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off
earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic
      waves.

  • but unfortunately, Chavez never said what Spaniard ABC supposed he says.

  • The simple fact of the matter is that Chavez’s intended audience is not the first world, but the third. The people he was speaking to are the ones who have never gone to school in their lives and can’t even read.  He knows he looks like an idiot to the rest of the world be he simply doesn’t care, we aren’t his intended audience. We already know he is evil incarnate and are not predisposed to listen to his ravings.  It is Kabuki theater, nothing more. Anyone in the first world that DOES listen to him are nutcases anyway.

  • Not so sure Chavez actually blamed the US for this. It may be just a hoax.
