Charlie Crist to launch independent Senate Run
Apparently, Charlie Crist has convinced himself that the people of Florida desire his leadership keenly, despite taking a vicious hammering in the polls for the Republican nomination. So, he’ll be announcing an independent run for US Senator.
Stick a fork in him. He’s done. The Republicans will henceforth treat him as if he has a case of virulent Ebola and herpes. I’ve got no clue where he’s going to get financing from.
The best he can do is split the Republican vote, and ensure a Democrat gets elected. If that happens he’ll be like a new Arlen Specter, except for being even more of a loser.

And yet the suits in the Republican party fell all over themselves backing this guy. Just like they did Specter.

It’s pretty bad when one of your parties are confiscatory Marxists and the opposition party are a bunch of clowns.
I think it’s grossly unfair to say that the GOP leadership are clowns.
At least clowns are entertaining and harmless when they do stupid things…
And they are good to the environment-they car pool.
As a Floridian, my thoughts are Charlie Crist has very little chance of winning as a Repub, Dem or Ind. I doubt he’s going to strip significant votes from any of the final contenders of any party.

I think you answered your own question. I believe you can contribute money to more than one campaign, doubling your investment to defeat a republican.
