I question if we were meant to have parties at all in the way that we have them at all. The founders made President and VP, winner and runner up respectively. That doesn’t seem like a 2-party concept where the President and Vice President would have polarized positions. It seems like a no party concept where best man and 2nd best man get the job of winner and runner up.
I don’t think the DISCLOSE bill (campaign finance) passed the Senate.
