If you think meetings are worthless, try working for a company that has no meetings. My company tried that for a while – not on purpose, just everyone got busy and we were not sticklers for them. One month later, we were back to having a morning meeting to coordinate everyone.
I could spend 65% of my work week in meetings if I wanted to.
Remember: every problem, no matter how great, can be solved merely by having enough meetings about it.
Or so it seems that management believed everywhere that I’ve worked!
