Debt-forgiveness

When James Baker gets back from this debt-forgiveness tour, I'm going to have him ring up my mortgage-lender. Apparently, he's a persuasive fellow...

After a visit by President Bush's envoy seeking a reduction of Iraq's massive debt, Kuwait said Wednesday it would look favorably on forgiving some of the $12 billion to $15 billion owed by its northern neighbor but did not say by how much.
If things keep going like this, U2 will be opening for James Baker on their next tour.
