Halliburton...

Halliburton news..

Halliburton Co. has told the Pentagon that two employees took kickbacks valued at up to $6 million in return for awarding a Kuwaiti-based company with lucrative work supplying U.S. troops in Iraq, Friday's Wall Street Journal reported.
Clearly, that's unacceptable behaviour, and when the left side of the blogosphere points that out, they'll be right. If they're being honest though, they'll also point out this bit.....
Any blow could be softened by the fact that Halliburton itself disclosed the misconduct to the Pentagon inspector general's office this week.
Oversight, audit, investigation....all very appropriate. It is, after all, our money being spent. We deserve to ensure that it's been spent properly.
