An Interview with Michael Berg
Posted by Jon Henke

In a very big Blogging coup, Bill at INDC Journal has asked a few questions of Michael Berg, father of slain US citizen Nick Berg. I would respect his right to grieve privately, if he seemed at all interested in doing so. He is not. And what he has to say is....naive, at the very best. At worst, it is despicable.

Michael Berg: "Let me put it to you this way, I don’t think that Dr. King’s murder was solved, and I don’t think that my son’s murder was solved, if you know what I’m saying ..."
Add to that, the fact that Michael Berg willingly associates himself with a Communist organization and works with ANSWER, an organization that advocates the continued killing of US troops, and it appears Michael Berg is more interested in stopping the US than stopping war.

Read the whole thing...it's fascinating. (and he's got pictures - natch) If blogging can be journalism, Bill is doing it at INDC Journal.

The worst thing about reading that interview: Mr. Berg's arguments, while repugnant, are better formed than John Kerry's at the moment.
