Posted by: Dale Franks on Thursday, August 18, 2005 The guys at Holland's Bikes called me to let me know that Catrike is FedExing a new mid-cage deraileur to me today, and they will install it tomorrow and deliver the trike to my house. Shortly before 9:am this morning, Catrike announced that they were changing the specs for the Pocket in order to replace the rear deraileur with one that has greater ground clearance. I'm very happy to see such a fast response to my complaint both in changing the specs on the bike, and in getting the new part to me as fast as possible. That is what I call responsive customer service. Let me also add that the owner of Holland's Bicycles also stepped up to the plate, and offered to replace the SRAM deraileur with a Shimano mid-cage deraileur for free, prior to calling Catrike with the problem. So both Catrike and the dealer responded quickly. So, I'm feeling a little better now. I'm hopeful that tomorrow, or Saturday, I will finally have a working Pocket that I can ride for the first time. |
