I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy. We had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul; a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country.

President Bush on Rafael Palmeiro:

President Bush on Harriet Miers:

What could possibly go wrong?

Hey, I’m chilling out over Miers. The folks over at Polipundit told me everything would be fine, and that I should definitely trust Bush. Like we all did about Campaign Finance Reform.
