I think the most important point made in this whole bruhaha is that we’ll probably never see the day that NBC would consider putting someone in a Orthodox Jewish attire and shooting video of them hanging around a mosque.
And we’ll certainly never see them shooting video of someone carrying a Bible and wearing a cross necklace in downtown Riyahd. |

I think they can still save themselves here. From what I’ve heard them say, they did this before and encountered no problems or anything. Simply do the show they were gonna do, only report on what actually happened, ie. American tolerance. Then maybe compare it to other nations, like the Christian who almost got executed in Afghanistan. |

Chris you EEEE-diot....this is about demonstating the evil and intolerance of America, not it’s tolerance. We want NASCAR fans to boo hiss, throw beer and threaten the Muslims with death, and if that doesn’t happen, the whole story is RUINED!

Oh, and this is just funny — NBC used a couple of Sikhs in their attempt. Sikhs are neither muslim nor arab. To their credit, if you were trying to setup a racist reaction, using Turban wearing Sikhs is probably a good way to go about it. They get confused as Arabs and Muslims all the time in supposedly ’enlightened’ urban areas with diverse populations, let alone white-washed suburban and rural areas. Whereas many Arabs, wearing normal American clothes, can often pass as dark-skinned Italians or Greeks.

1) If they DON’T get the reactions they’re looking for, they should air a report about the lack of "racism" at NASCAR events
