McKinney: Serving GA’s 4th Congressional District
Posted by: McQ on Sunday, April 09, 2006

Until she occasionally she pops up like a gopher on the national scene as she did for the last week or so with her "much ado about a hairdo" nonsense, not many people are familiar with the important work Cynthia McKinney does as a congresswoman from the 4th Congressional district in Georgia.

For instance, this:
A few weeks before her contretemps with a Capitol Police officer, U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney filed her latest piece of legislation: House Resolution 4968, "The Tupac Amaru Shakur Records Release Act of 2006."

The bill declares that "all government records related to the life and death of Tupac Amaru Shakur should be preserved for historical and governmental purposes." It directs that the records be placed in an extraordinary collection at the National Archives and Records Administration, and that copies of the files be housed at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain.

McKinney believes the government may know more than it's saying about Shakur's murder in 1996. And an aide to McKinney wrote by e-mail to the Journal-Constitution that "for young black men today, Tupac is at least as recognizable and more often quoted than Dr. [Martin Luther] King."
Sometimes you just have to see it to believe it. At least she's consistent. It appears she might believe there was a government conspiracy involved in Tupac's death as well.
"Given the questions that surround the government interest and possible involvement in both their murders and their lives these cases both hold similar weight in assessing government response to social and cultural change in the whole society."

McKinney believes "government surveillance teams" may have witnessed Shakur's shooting and have failed to come forward.
Doin' the people's business.

ENOUGH ALREADY! It’s obvious:
1) This women is a hopeless waste of DNA; and
2) That her constituents, just don’t care, or a majority of the voting constituents don’t care.
Let it go! Until the Motheship calls her home or she just checks out from doing the "Brown Acid" we are stuck with her. Thankfully she has almost NO seniority in the House. And should the unlikely and awful eventuality occur that the Democrats re-take the House this Fall, she will in charge of NOTHING. She is NOT "Red Ron" Dellums, she is not in-line for a Committee Chairmanship. She won’t have any more access to power than she has now, so can we not leave this sad, pathtic creature alone and leave her to the Constituents of GA’s 4th Congressional District, to cheer or jeer as they see fit.

Please, I don’t think posts about McKinney boost your hits or your profile that much, I beg you please let it go.

PS: I repeat Cynthia McKinney has also opposed:
1) Scientology;
2) L. Ron Hubbard, insulting him personally;
3) David Hasselhof;
4) Carman Electra;
5) Bay Watch, in general; and
6) Puppies, cute, loveable, cuddly puppies, this women, HATES puppies.

Well you’d be wrong about the hits, Joe. Per sitemeter "Cynthia McKinney", "McKinney" and "Cynthia-McKinney" were the top three search phrases on QandO.

And besides, I live in GA.

Don’t like ’em?

Don’t read ’em.

Interestingly enough, this story comes almost a decade after Chris Rock angrily retorted "I love you, 2pac, but school will be open on your birthday!" in response to those who said Shakur had been assassinated like MLK.

I think Cynthia Mckinney is getting a railroad job big time. The Republicans are being exposed for the corrupt A-holes we all knew they were and they need someone to take the heat off them. So they pick on Cynthia Mckinney.

Ms. Mckinney has supported Black Farmers who had their land taken when few others would. This in and of itself makes her a hero. Those who dont like too bad!!! I repeat too Bad!!! The Democrats are once again waffling under the Repbublican bad mouthing of one of their members. They did not stand up to the bad mouthing and lies against John Kerry. Now the Republcians are at it again and the Democrats are once again showing they have no backbone and waffling.

Did you hear any type of negative attack against Shotgun Cheney when he shot a man in the face and almost killed him? He kept it quiet and only gave one interview. Nobody says anything about this.

Racial profiling is a fact of life in America. Black Americans experience it at some point in their lives. Ms. Mckinney has been subjected to cruel and crude racist slurs on an unpresidented level. Why is the Black caucus waffling and cowing away from her. They are showing all of us just that they are fronting when it comes to real issues. They should realize that it is Mckinney today and it could be them tommorrow. They just have to pick them off one at a time.

Nancy Pelosi has to go!!! She is refusing to support McKinney proving once again that Black votes are expendable. So too are Black congreessmen and women.

I know. It’s one of the only things on which Pelosi and I have ever agreed.
