good podcast guys. Too bad Jon wasnt there, I would have liked the Net Neutrality discussion. But oh well I get enough of him in the chatroom.

Dale, I may be missing the point of your analogy, but when you discuss the need for building codes, you take the anti-libertarian point of view. Isn’t it reasonable to assume that without preventative government regulation, structures and roads would be built to a reasonable standard of safety due to liability concerns?
Since you are advocating deregulation, it may be that my question is beside the point. What exactly would the government need to do, specifically to create that environment of fair competition that the two of you are talking about?
