Aren’t magazine editors supposed to know about copyright law? Posted by: Dale Franks

Apparently, someone else needs a lesson about not getting the Special Forces community PO'd at them. In this case it's HFM, a multimedia conglomerate with 200 publications in 30 countries. They've started a new magazine, called Shock. Frankly, I'm shocked to see that they appear to have ...uh...appropriated Michael Yon's famous Strength and Compassion photograph to put on the cover:
The number for HFM is (212) 767-6000. Someone should call them to explain that stealing is wrong. It's especially wrong when you have really, really deep pockets. Ok, maybe it isn't more wrong. But it's certainly more stupid.
