"IVAW did not perform any due diligence"
Sounds just like VVAW. |

Not only did they not do the due dilligence, but as veterans, whatever their opinion of the war, shouldn’t they have protested his claims?! They were there, they know how our soldiers have generally comported themselves. One can be against the war without endorsing any claim about it, either explicitly or tacitly by allowing those associated with you (actually, even if they are not) to make horrendous lies on your behalf. War opponents more than others should be fighting such stories if they want to make this about principled opposition to how the armed forces are being utilized rather than just a political smear. |

What are the chances they’ll check out the bona fides of *all* their members? Wanna bet how many more are fakes? |

Jorg, that sounds like a project for Charles Johnson and his band of bouncing footballs (and I say that with all respect). |

And what about the bona fides of Jessica Lynch? You wingnuts fell all over yourselves accepting them, now didn’t you? And what of the Army’s lies about how Pat Tillman died? Nary a peep from your side.
And now we have the unfolding tale of marines massacring 24 Iraqis, lying about it, and then seeking to sweep it under the carpet. Bona fides? Yeah, let’s talking about checking the bona fides.
Or, as your Liar-in-Chief would put it: "Bring it on." |

Achiellea, the proper term for Charles Johnson’s commentators is Lizaroids. I believe I’m Lizaroid #412. |
