I suspect the Haditha incident is going to become the next Jenin. The media loves this kind of thing, especially as it confirms the mindset of editors who have never spent a day in the field with the troops. Witness that some of those journalists who are actually in the field with the troops (and thus have a great deal more front line knowledge than their deskbound editors) have actively defended the Marines.

I suspect that it will implode just like Jenin.
