I think they’re mad that the Fitz didn’t fax them a copy of the statement. If Luskin is "lying" (which they seem to be implying), then going directly to the New York Times with the announcement seems a pretty brazen lie that Fitzgerald would’ve corrected by now were it false.
Also humorous is their apparent hesitancy to believe Luskin’s statement absent of "confirmation." So far, Truthout may be the ONLY media outlet in America still trying to make the indictment a reality rather than a fantasy, and they still haven’t told who their sources are (despite promises to do so once this story was shown to be wrong).
Strangely, the first rule of holes isn’t applying here. |

Apparently, not enough time to get Leopold to make good on his promise to roll over on his unimpeachable "sources" should the story be bunk.
That was a month ago (in both business and real hours - I don’t know about Truthout hours, though). |

So how many business hours has it been since Truthout first claimed Rove had been indicted? I think they’re using "Office Space" hours which are at best 15 mins. per workday ... probably a little less on Friday, or if you have a case of the "Mondays". |

Rove won’t be indicted because he rolled over on Dick Cheney and Haliburton’s push for War on Iraq! I know this, I have sources close to the case who have told me so. There is a sealed indictment, with the number 04-, 12- or the Lettre "J" in the D.C. Federal Court House, it concerns Dick Cheney. I’m not lying, I’m ahead of the news cycle, guys! In the next 18-87,660hours it will be unsealed and Dick Cheney will do the "perp walk." I KNOW, help me get the word out and FIGHT THE POWER! |
