You three obviously put time and thought into quality posts, some of which I don’t agree with—and apparently, some of which you don’t agree with among the three of you. You guys deserve the props, Your posts are always thoughtful and respectful to other bloggers and such (except Roy Blount but he deserved it) and you manage to stay away from all that inflammatory rherotic that annoys me. Plus the podcast gives me something to look forward to on Monday morning. Both the informality and humor make it top notch. Keep it up. The best part is I get great commentary without Times Select! But this post is self-serving to the point of nauseating. I was waiting for the punchline, or some nod to irony.
Since when has self-satisfaction been interesting? I think it would’ve been more fitting and tasteful to maybe thank Jaded in his comments.

Nor do we toot our own horn as a blog. It’s OK to give ourselves props, frankly. In two years, we’ve gone from a new, startup blog to one of the most linked blogs in the world.
So, if we, on rare occasions, do a self-serving post, then you should just suck it up.

Self serving?
Shoot, I thought that was what BLOGS were in the first place - someone randomly using the net as a kind of dairy and letting other people read what was on (or out of) their minds.
This place is something other, especially when matched against a lot of ’places’ where pitchforks, torches, angry mobs, and ropes seem to usually be the order of the day.

You must of missed it. Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) decided to school us on how the internet works.
Here’s Jon Stewart’s humorous montage about the issue. But of course, if you don’t like Jon Stewart, I’m sure that you can google it and find out.
It would be just fun and games mocking a crazy old man that happens to represent the people of Alaska and his foolish beliefs, if it were not for the fact that he’s the Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee in charge of regulating these “series of tubes”.
Oh, yeah… and cheers to QandO.

I think we all agree that occurred. Maybe it’s just me but I thought Dale’s post was about how he thought the further pursuit of "evidence" - in the form of a time line - seemed silly.

My comment was intended as a purely tongue-in-cheek suggestion that Jaded JD was one of Greenwald’s sock puppets, and his blog entry praising Q and O was really just a pretext to draw attention to Dale’s post.
For the record, though I only recently began commenting here, I am a long-time admirer of the Q and O blog. Your blog has been one of my first stops on the internet every day for a long time now, and it is the only blog that I read regularly. I usually only go to other blogs when following a link.
