I’m Shocked—Shocked!—To Learn of This!

 The german News magazine Der Spiegel, is reporting that it appear that not only is Iran continuing its nuclear research, but Russian fingerprints are all over the assistance they're getting.
Despite claims to the contrary, leaders in Tehran are apparently still pushing forward with research into uranium enrichment with the aid of laser technology. A Russian engineer recently told SPIEGEL that Iran has received help from his countrymen with a program that uses a laser system to divide heavy isotopes. The engineer, who works for an institute near Moscow and helps develop nucleaar reactors, claims that Iranians have since 2004 sought and secured technical aid from Russia for their domestic "laser system for the division of heavy isotopes" program.
Our good buddies, the Russians. It's interesting how often they turn up in shady Mideastern deals, isn't it?

The cold war with Russia was back on once Putin got into office. But because they are too smart to say "We’ll bury you" to our face, America is defenseless against it.

Just finished reading Samuel Huntington’s book "Clash of Civilizations" and in it he explains (eventually) why we are seeing much that we see with the Russians, Chinese, the Arabs, etc. He connects the dots and I must say that if a few more of our ’leaders’ would pay attention to the big picture we wouldn’t find ourselves in the current mess we are in. The truly amazing thing is Huntington did it in 1995!

HAH, who can blame the Iranians with Chimpy McHalliburton in charge! The Bushco BFEE is attempting to take over Iran all in the name of greater profits for Dubya’s "Oil Buddies", of course they need nuclear weapons! If ONLY the SCOTUS had done the right thing and appointed GORE as President!?!?!

After all the Soviets didn’t MEANN any of that stuff about conquering the world. It was all just Western paranoia and THAT was the threat. OF course, just like the Iranians and UBL don’t RELLY mean all that stuff about Caliphates or destroying the West.
