This election seems very simple: Do you trust the judgment of a man who believed that it was a good idea to invade Iraq, and that the Bush administration was competent enough to successfully run the occupation. Or do you trust the judgment of a man who had the foresight to see the problems that an occupation would engender, and who was against the invasion?
The question answers itself, doesn’t it? |

Hey, MK...we’re still waiting for those quotes demonstrating that McCain has been "accused of being a traitor to the United States of America by leading voices in the GOP." When can we expect those? |

I think the question becomes, will you vote for a candidate who’s only issues is that he was against an action that happened 3 years ago, and that he’s served in the military? Even though his plan for Iraq now is not substantially different from his opponent?
Webb seems like an alright guy though, but I’m not a Viginian so I really havent been following this whole race that closely. Wulf from atlasblogged is a Vrginian though, you can read some of his thoughts over at inactivist. |

Balko over at the agitator seems to think that Webb takes a more libertarian stance on most policy issues than Allen. I was wondering if Jon could compile a list of the two candidates stated stances on issues and comment on which issues Allen tends more toward liberty and which issues Webb tends more toward liberty. I’m not really looking for editorialized commentary, just: on the issue of warrantless wiretaps Web takes this position A and Allen takes position B, etc. |

One really has to worry about whether Allen is not only anti-macaca and anti-semitic, but also whether or not he is simply cracking up. This guy simply does not have the intellect or the demeanor to be a senator. |
