Market?? Only a Warmongering, Chimpy Haliburton Loving Repuglican like McQ would talk about the "market" in this case. What tripe.... BushCo.’s minions have been trashing this film and it’s maker for MONTHS. Add to that the power of regulatory and legal arm-twisting and it’s no wonder this film has "under-performed." The reality is it’s lucky anyone ahs seen it in this Climate of Fear being generated by this bunch of Neo-Con Fanatical Christianists...
This isn’t about the Market, but the Courage to Speak the Truth to Power and the bravery of those who dare explore the world of this "Double-Plus Ungood Film." If we don’t act soon to address the erosions of our liberty being inflicted by this cabal of Likudniks and war-mongering Profit-Hounds there won’t be ANYTHING left to watch but the "Two Minute Hate" and elegiacs to our own Dear Leader.
Sheeple wake up! Or soon not only will films like this "disappoint" at the box office, but the makers will "Disappear" at night...first they came for the film makers.... |

I watched over half of it on TV when it was on a few weeks back. It took a vaguely interesting premise (and I would have said that if it was made in Clinton’s era) and built an incredibly dull movie around it - no tension, no excitement, no empathy, nothing.
A generally pointless film that not only unsatisfied but actually made the toilet break the most interesting part of the evening. |
