Where do you get the GOP plot theory from? I am making fun of the premise, man.
I know you are new here and I haven’t been posting much in the last few months, but that is my shtick. I make fun of people who espouse conspiracy theories. So if you think that this is a GOP plot, good for you, humor for me.
I know that many on the sinister side of the isle have tried to pass off the comments by Kerry as some sort of misunderstood joke.
However, the nutroots sure seemed to get the joke in the context that we did. (ht Hot Air, I would just link hot air but then you lefties would not read it)

I’m not getting the impression that you understand that there was nothing clever or conspiratorial hidden in my post, simply a statement that the rest of this episode was decidedly not funny, but the troops who set up this picture were very funny.

I used to get in strenuous arguments with people(on another website) who claimed that anti-war rhetoric was getting US soldiers killed by destroying the morale of US soldiers. I am sure some of them will take that picture seriously, as proof of their thesis. |

Grenades are FUN.... and with the marines in the fighting tops, if we’re lucky, there will be NO surviving officers, of either vessel......
WEB Griffith had a nice take on Officers Hats/covers... the loops were put on to distinguish OUR officers from THEIRS...so OUR Marines didn’t pop our officers...Personally I think that’s the whole point of Marines in the fighting tops, to cull the officer herd, but I am an anarchist/Enlisted person at heart.

I used to wonder why there were any surviving officers until I fired my smoothbore .69 the first time and recalled I’d have to do that from the tops, while she’s rolling around at one rate, and theirs is rolling around at a slight different rate, while someone else (many someones) are trying to kill me.
