Voting: It’s Everyone’s Responsibility
Posted by: McQ on Tuesday, December 12, 2006

If you haven't voted today I'm giving you the most important link: "Best Centrist Blog". Bottom of the ballot - you know what to do.

Besides, if you're a QandO reader, you'll figure out how to get to the rest if you really want too.

The 2006 Weblog Awards

Voting runs for 5 more days, you can vote once a day, and the polls close at 11:59 eastern on Dec. 15th. So if you haven't done so for today, now is as good a time as any.

You know, I’d vote for you every day, but I think a divided blogosphere would be a good idea. Plus, I don’t agree with everything you guys say. How can I reward non 100% agreement with a vote for you? In fact, I hate to say it, but sometimes I don’t think you guys have a plan.

You guys led me to believe that everyone would be sad that Milton Friedman passed away. But some blogs were cheering his death and it didn’t seem like it was the last throes of celebratory cheering.

I’m voting for change! I mean, surely empowering less Libertarian blogs will ultimately empower Libertarian blogs. Right?

Oh, wrong category. You need the one which has the Daily Kos in it.

Hey this is one time when you can vote early, vote often, vote from as many different computers as possible.

No deck stacking going on here I’m sure. Just plain old honest, one man, (n) machines, voting.
Heh heh.

This is a good blog, worth voting for, even if one of its main organizers (McQ) apparently hates me. So I’ll vote for it. Qando is a very good blog/website.

Now Scott, it’s not hate, he’s known you a long time, maybe it’s heritage, sorta like the Middle East.

I looked for it at the "Best Comic Strip" and "Best Medical/Health Issues"(thinking of mental health). It wasn’t there. What category is it? Was it deleted by the VRWC?

Wrong again. McQ doesn’t hate you, I do. McQ, I believe, thinks you are amusing, when he thinks of you at all.

Yuo dont have to agree with anythign a blog says to enjoy it, or participate. What a lame place this would be if everyone agreed perfectly.

I don’t hate anyone. But there are a number of people for whom I have no respect and little use. I normally just ignore them.

Yeah, how do you learn anything that way?

Not if they agreed with me!

Sorry, McQ, I shouldn’t have spoken for you.
