We bought my (at the time) 5 year old daughter a Kodak EasyShare camera last Christmas for under $60 and it still works great. She uses it all the time and even occasionally drops it on the hard wood floors. |

I forgot to add that we are giving our 4 and 2 year old daughter each a $25 generic digital camera this year (Hello Kitty version). It’s great to see what little kids find interesting enough to photograph! |

Our 2 1/2 year old Kodak Z765 is doing fine, despite the best efforts of our 2 1/4 year old. |

I just bought a C530, and my only complaint is that Kodak isn’t making its’ software work on 64-bit OS. |

My WalMart Kodak CX4200 has been just great for 4 years of heavy use. Don’t know if Picassa2 software will work on 64 bit, but I deleted my EasyShare program after I installed and used Picassa2. It is a FREE download and it is great. |

Well, actually, 64-bit XP Pro will talk to the camera (and other common cameras and scanners) without any intermediaries, and Picture Manager will do the rest. |
