Posted by: Dale Franks on Monday, January 01, 2007 Now that Jon has let the cat out of the bag, I can now tell you that there will be some changes to the podcast in the future. Jon's new job constrains his ability to participate in the podcast, so Bruce and I are trying to figure out how to shake things up a little bit. For now, we are planning on having a lot more interviews and/or guests filling in on third mic. We had the Ryan Mauro interview this week. Next week, we'll be joined by—appropriately enough—James Joyner (yes, it's a terrible pun, I know) from Outside the Beltway. The week after that, Lance from A second Hand Conjecture will be with us. We haven't thought much past that, but I'm sure we'll figure something out. No doubt we'll be looking at the left side of the blogosphere for participation as well, so that ought to be fun. In any event, we'll work to ensure that the podcast doesn't devolve into Bruce and I just saying to each other, "You're absolutely right. I agree completely." I can't imagine anything more boring. While I hate to lose Jon as a regular part of the podcast, perhaps this can be an opportunity to widen the 'cast's reach across the blogosphere. |
