My guess is, though, you’d take that to the bank and tout them as quite good thinkers in that case.
The poll is about job performance to day and apparently Mr. Webb has not been impressive to those with the vote.keep forgetting that we’re dealing with the non-thinking crowd here at q&a. LOL!

I thought you were the guy who thought that our leaders should do whats right instead of doing what the polls say they should be doing. Should Bush quit what he is doing because he is polling worse than OJ Simpson? It seems like you have two standards.

Surveyanalysis uses robot phone callers to collect their data. Who do you think responds to robot callers asking you to hit 1 if you belive this and 2 if you believe that? It is possible that Webb supporters are more likely to be able to use caller id, or that Allen supporters are more likely to take the time to answer a political poll about an office that isn’t open until 2012.
Lets call this what it is.

You are unfair my friend. McQ has discussed Bush’s lack of popularity, he just doesn’t find it funny.
More importantly, at this point everybody knows Bush is unpopular. Webb’s ability to alienate voters so quickly is both funny (given his populist ranting) and previously unknown to us. I think you would appreciate this under-covered nugget.

Webb is just one of the many really lousy candidates who beat good Republican candidates this past election. I mean, George Allen is so vastly superior to Jim Webb in every single way, it’s not even funny. The same could be said about several other races around the country, but in Virginia was far more pronounced. |
