I dunno. While I’ve now been shown that Peyton Manning can win A big game, I’m still not convinced that he can win THE big game. |

Bears 31 Colts 24
I’m going with a combined 4 turnovers for Peyton (fumbles and INTs) to go along with his 4 sacks. |

It’s not a knock against Peyton Manning, or a lack of faith, the whole situation just reminds of Rams-Patriots a few years back, Florida-Ohio St. this year, you know?
The Bears will have over 200 yards rushing, Devin Hester will have a touchdown, and the Bears defense will have a touchdown. Sexy Rexy will play ok, not great, not even good, but ok, with only 1 pick. Peyton will throw 2, but he’ll have a ton of incompletions because his favorite playoff target, Dallas Clark will have more trouble with Urlacher and Briggs (speed kills, baby) than he did with the other teams’ linebackers (yes, even Baltimore). Unfortunately, the heretofore stellar tandem of Addai/Rhodes will be outshone by the tandem of Jones/Benson.
Bears 34, Colts 20. |

What if the Bears were 14 inches tall?
I was going to post a link to "Bill Swerski’s Superfans" video clip, but NBC had YouTube remove it because it was a reminder that Saturday Night Live was funny once.

Of course the Bears will win. I honestly like Manning, and I wish he was going to get it done, because he’s the best quarterback of his time. I really wish he wouldn’t have to be the modern day Dan Marino, but I think that’s the legacy he will have. I have no faith in the Colts to pull off a win. Bill Polian’s curse will survive this weekend, my friends.
I expect Peyton to throw only 3 or 4 TDs, but one of them will be to a Chicago player. Meagain is probably right about the turnovers we will see. The Bears could win by double digits and it wouldn’t surprise me.
Again, not that I’m hoping for it. I just expect it. |

It’s Peyton’s year, the SuperBowl happened 2 weeks ago, this is just an exhibition game.
The commercials will be the best part of the game... unless you like Prince.

The score sure doesn’t indicate how indy totally dominated Da Bears.
Da Bears scored 14 in the first quarter, one on special teams, and one from a turnover, after that they scored one field goal the rest of the game.
The Colts were in the red zone often enough to have scored 50 points.
It was a better game than I expected, at least it was closer than expected.
