It is so amusing to see NeoCons gasp with great astonishment that maybe some other governments can fund political groups that oppose the US and Israeli agenda in the MidEast. What they fail to explain is how much of the internal strife between Muslim factions is part of the US & Israeli strategy.
Just this week Fatah drove tanks into the Gaza strip from Israel!! Now we know Fatah doesn’t just get a free ride through Israel. How is it that Iran is creating the civil war in Iraq when 100’s of Shiites are being killed each day by bombers. Remember, Iran is Shiite. Guess which big oil producer is Sunni? Saudi Arabia. So the fighting between Shiite and Sunni in the MidEast is a perfect example of divide and conquer. Saudis are scared that if Iraq goes Shiite then the Saudis can expect tensions to flare up in the Eastern Provinces where all the oil sits. For decades the Saudis have been marginalizing the Shiite population in the Eastern Provinces.
The US and Israeli strategy is clearly to foment civil war among the Muslim states in the MidEast that aren’t alligned with the West. As long as the US allows Israel to occupy the West Bank, expand the settlements, the chaos will just get worse and worse. The question Americans should ask themselves: Why do we produce and sell cluster bombs that Israel will use against civilians? If we are such a peace loving, Christian country, how can we sit by and condone this?
Why does the US use a double standard on nuclear proliferation? We punish Iran yet know full well that Israel has the bomb, but does not allow any international inspection. Do Americans really think that anyone in the MidEast really believes that our motives are peace loving? American NeoCon policy has been a disaster except for winning elections in the USA. You can be sure that Iran will be the next boogie, along with Gays and Immigrants, coming into the 2008 election. |
