Site Update Again
Posted by: Dale Franks on Thursday, February 08, 2007

OK. I really didn't like the old format of the US Military Ribbons presentation. There was a lot of repetition. So, I re-did it. The new presentation is done in a different format, and I've added the common ribbon devices, as well as a sample display for wearing ribbons.

I also updated the US Rank Insignia presentation to account for the most recent changes from the USAF Uniform Board to eliminate the shoulder mark insignia for senior NCOs, except for the Blue Winter Sweater.

This is excellent, thank you.

A request, though perhaps presuming too much on your voluntary effort here. Can the names of the Ribbons be linked to explanations/descriptions of the medals they represent?

Nice work, but I noted a couple mistakes. The Fleet Marine Force Service Ribbon and the Fleet Marine Force Warfare Qualification badge are both Navy awards for naval personnel serving with the Marines (i.e. Corpsmen, RPs etc.)
