Singin’ the Blues in Canada

On a personal note, if you're a blues fan, you might want to tune into Canada's Radio 1 on Saturday night from 11 to 1 and listen in.

My brother, Doug, will be playing at the Spectrum in Montreal as lead guitar player (and sometimes vocalist) with blues singer Boo Boo Davis (I love that name). Link is here (last item on the page). If you're a night owl and you like the blues you're in for a treat.

Sounds nice. Wish I could partake.

We used to be able to pick up R. 1 from here from the Hornby AM site... CBL/740khz just north of Toronto. Sadly, they went off AM, and moved to FM with R1 a few years back, and now lease the Hornby transmitter(s) to CHWO. They moved it to 99.1... which I can’t get because there’s 50kw on 98.9 about a mile west of me.... I can see it out my home office window. (blink, blink, blink)

Annoying.
