Posted by: McQ on Sunday, March 11, 2007 Apparently we had a great interview going with Professor Cramer on his new book when Dale had a veterinary emergency and had to end it in mid-interview. All is well and I'll leave it to Dale to fill you in on the details if he so desires, but we're hoping to set it up again with Prof. Cramer and finish the interview for next week's podcast. Dale said it was a fantastic interview (he had gotten about 18 minutes worth) but the emergency took precedence, of course. UPDATE [Dale]: So, right in the middle of the interview, Chris starts shrieking. I look through the glass door and the puppy is laying on the floor, convulsing in some kind of seizure. Since this dog apparently only has health emergencies on the weekend, that meant an immediate trip to the vet hospital. She came out of the seizure on the way to the emergency vet. The blood panel was all normal, and she was back to her old self, so we brought her home four hours later. Don't really know what this was all about. UPDATE II [Dale]: So, now it's 10:00pm and I just got back from the hospital for the second time. Starbuck had another seizure, and this time we had to admit her into puppy hospital. Not a good day. |
