Just ask Liz Edwards about her neighbor!No word yet from Kucinich and Gravel, or the other campaigns, or from Fox, which could presumably do an empty podium hour and confirm to its viewers that Democrats are, in fact, the cowards it’s often portrayed them as. Sounds win-win to me I wish they would actually.
If Bush could do a Presidential debate with a CBS moderator after Dan Rather’s hit piece, the Dems could go on Fox.
They are unfit for office. If they can’t handle FNC, how can they handle Iran? |

I don’t think these candidates are scared of Fox I think they are afraid of the zealots at MoveOn.org and Daily Kos. I find it disturbing that the zealots on the left snap their whip and all these major candidates jump. I don’t know about you but I don’t think it’s a good idea if our next President gets his/her marching orders from MoveOn.org or has to consult them on every major policy issue. I’ve got about as much Bush fatigue as the next guy but this worrisome display will probably keep me from voting for a Democrat. |

The problem is Fox is not ‘politically correct’ and since it does not toe the liberal line it must be boycotted. There is more than fear of Fox or Move on here. We are seeing an attempt to marginalize a news outlet because decent can not be tolerated by the left. If they could, Fox would not be allowed to cover Democratic Party events. It has happened before on a smaller scale. The Chicano rights organization MeCHA boycotted a station I worked for, refusing to allow us to cover events they were involved in. I suspect if they though they could get away with it, the National Democratic Party would do the same to Fox. |

I don’t know about you but I don’t think it’s a good idea if our next President gets his/her marching orders from MoveOn.org or has to consult them on every major policy issue. Bob, I recall that Kerry had to vet both his campaign stratagy and his political policies with George Soros.
Bush had to do no such thing; Republicans get lotsa little donations. The Dems rely upon fewer but larger political donations. The totals come out close, but there is a significant difference in how they get them.
So you want to play with the big boys in Dem politics? Ya gotta dance the right dance . . . |
