Two assailants broke into a man's trailer and attacked him with a swordfish snout in eastern Australia early Wednesday, leaving the victim with cuts to his arms, back and hands, police said.

The victim, who was not identified, claimed the two suspects assaulted him with the serrated, sword-like bill during a home invasion in the eastern city of Bundaberg, Queensland state police said.

Let me be the first to propose swordfish-snout control. Anyone catching a swordfish must register the snout and get a permit to possess it. And they must install snout handles to make it safe. And they must go through a waiting period to wield the snout.

Oh, forget that. Let’s just ban swordfish snouts altogether. Otherwise, others might suffer from these vicious weapons.

When swordfish are outlawed, only outlaws will have swordfish.

Personally, I think the two perpetrators were completely without a sole. This is probably a fluke.
