That 2009 Virginia Governor's race isn't going to win itself. We'll disagree over policy sometimes, but I have to admit that Bob McDonnell is one of the most blog-savvy politicians on the scene. He's been actively engaging Virginia bloggers - big and small - across Virginia for a couple years now, and he's done so in a very generous, knowledgeable and genuinely interested way. He's even got a "Virginia Blogs" link (to a blogroll of VA blogs) prominently displayed on his nav-bar. I'd bet that kind of effort will pay dividends down the road. A lot of Republicans across the country could take a lesson from him. NOTE: Apparently, an Extreme Mortman link can be bought for the price of one bumper sticker. |
