So much for the French jokes - at least for a while
Posted by: McQ on Sunday, July 22, 2007

A very nice gesture:

Volunteers form a human chain to honor fallen U.S. troops in World War Two and form the words "France Will Never Forget" as a symbol of the friendship between France and the U.S. in Omaha Beach, near the U.S. Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, western France, June 30, 2007. I really wish everyone would finally have their fill of the inane enmity that Jimmy the ’Dhimmy’, shall we say, alludes to. It was born a tiresome nuisance and has become only worse. It should have died with, "freedom fries." It can’t all be fond sentiments and thanks, but haven’t we all had our fill?

Heh, why can’t we all just get along?
....oh...yeah.....
"we’ll always have Paris"
that’s why.

Bet me, these people were from Normandy.
Great gesture though, I have to say.
Nice to see after so long they still remember.
