Atrios calls people "The Stupids" for, as Media Matters explains, arguing that we should maintain the option of military action, but avoid talking about it publicly...

Shorter Rudy, Mitt, and the media:
Of course we might strike at targets in Pakistan but serious people don't say that.

Is that "stupid"? I don't know. But since Atrios and Media Matters have reached that conclusion, let's offer a reminder...
