what if China did dump US securities? My guess is it would have a large effect, but not a lasting one. And that China would be a lot worse off than the USA.

There would certainly be no stopping the anti china protectionist brigade if that happened.

Those securities have a certain intrinsic value and would only fall so far before others pick them up.

BTW China’s GDP is about 16% of USA.

FYI - the iTunes Store shows "Unknown" in the Artist name field for your podcast. I’m not sure why, though, as the Artist name field says "QandO Online Magazine" once the podcast has been downloaded. I wanted to let you know about that because it makes it harder for people to find your stuff via iTunes. The only reason I found it is because you specifically mentioned the podcast’s title in your post (Observations) and that’s what I used for my search. Then I filtered the Genre field by "News And Politics" and finally expanded the Name field (which does mention QandO).

Another thing you may want to consider doing is providing the actual iTunes URL like so...

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=83133110&s=143441

I don’t know if that’s the URL for a specific episode or a generic URL to the most current podcast, though.

Keep up the good work, dude!
