It's official: France's rainy, grey and generally cold summer has been the worst for the past 30 years, the weather service said Friday.

Huh. Me, I see it as a sort of blessing in disguise. At least 15,000 old folks didn't die of heat exposure this year.

It sounds kind of silly, but extended periods of weather can affect people’s mood. I remember a few years ago, my area (DC) had a couple months with nothing but rain, and I swear, nearly everybody was in some kind of funk.

Scott, you should know by now: all climate anomalies are caused by Global Warming. If it’s too hot, that’s because the world is warming. If it’s too cold, that’s because GW caused more water to evaporate, which means more clouds, which means less sunlight, which means colder weather. According to the GW camp, the world is going to get so hot it’ll freeze!
