Yes Josh, he was suspended. Now that really sucks. It was an innocuous, harmless, witty joke. Someone lacks a sense of humor.

Tom, can you think of a single example of anyone who works anywhere in the whole educational system, from elementary to post-graduate, who does have a sense of humor?

I thought it was hilarious, and it’s ridiculous to suspend him. I also know a lot of people in education with great senses of humor. The ones that don’t go into administration.

The suspension is unwarranted, but probably worth it. That’s the kind of prank he can put on his resume, as long as he’s not going into educational administration, or civil service.

My mother, a teacher of 25+ years, thought this was the funniest thing she’d heard of a student doing, and thinks suspecding the kid was pretty petty.

it was harmless.

Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone...

i thought they just got suspended from extracurricular activities, and a few days in school suspension. perhaps it would have been less severe had they not copied Yale
