I’m not sure what you mean. I thought the Petraeus/Crocker hearing (at least the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the only one I heard) went really well. Some of the questions were grandstanding (Obama’s clearly running for something) but I think overall it was a useful and informative hearing. I have disagreements with the policies, but from what I heard, I think Petraeus and Crocker are probably the right people for their particular jobs, and they seem to be talking straight, with less bravado and optimistic swagger than we got from the Administration in the past. |

Erb thinks Petreaus and Crocker are "the right people for their particular jobs"?
I guess we need to find their replacements quickly. I know if Erb argues the same thing as me (which has happened, and recently, too) I go back and check my arguments to see where they went wrong. |

Petraeus is not part of the Administration, Erb Pretty sure he wasn’t implying that (I’ll go out on a limb and suggest he was referring to Mr Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld.) Sheesh, I know you guys don’t like Mr. Erb, but seriously, lets not be all DKos about it. |
