entertaining, but skewed me thinks...based on one check I ran.
For example blogs.herald.com/dave_barrys_blog/
came back as College, Post Grad |

Yeah, well, it’s better than "Blog Reading Level: Erb and MKultra and below." |

I guess it’s a nice rating for elitists...how does your blog read to Gays, Lesbians, Bi-Sexuals, the Transgendered, Womyn, the Poor, and People of Colour is the better question? After all not everyone can go to college, even though a BA is the determining factor in economic success or failure in the US. So basically this rating means that the pandered scions of the gluttonous bourgeoisie can read and appreciate your blog. Good for you if you value that kind of traffic...personally I would be ashamed. Until EVERYONE can go to college I believe all blogs whould be "written" so that the differently literacy enabled ( formerly the "illiterate") can easily comprehend the content, pictures in other words...
For example, Hillary, with a Halo, the current POTUS with a Nazi Mustache, smiling children in the Dr.’s office; sad, starved ill-children gazzing at the White House... |

I had to know - good old prof Erb gets an ’undergrad’ level on his.
For those interested, info-zip gets a genius level, and, made me feel a whole lot better about myself, alternately followed by despondence when I reflected on the rating it gave Dave Barry.
I won’t discuss what ’Sir’ Oliver got, but let’s just say he’ll be extremely happy if he poses the question. |

A blog of mine that I abandoned after 3 posts, 2 of which were testing fonts & comment settings, got a rating of Genius.
I think the rating judges the level of education required to understand what is written. The more complex (and potentially less clear) the higher education required. Although it can be technically correct, at some point overly sophisticated grammer and poor writing style are one in the same.
A blog probably should target high school in order to make for a clear, concise and quick read. |

oddly enough the the contemporary conservative blog was rated Genius. I think it is reflective of the message and not the messager. I posted on the site since my mom would never believe it otherwise :) |

If this is accurate, then the founding fathers wrote at a junior high school reading level. |
