Irish... Big surprise.....at least it’s consistent with some genetic reality (or maybe we picked what we though would yield the correct result?) |

Saw this at Virginia Postrel’s Dynamist blog. Apparently my inner European is Italian, one of the few western European nationalities that isn’t in my blood. |

Pogue’s will probably end up being Greek. Uzo suits me just fine.
With questions and answers like, "Your ideal meal is something like... a) Meat, potatos, and beer b) Caviar, borshch, and vodka"
It was kinda’ easy to see where they were going with this. Fun little quiz though.
Cheers. |

Irish of course. And I didn’t even answer the "What political issue really gets you going?" with the first answer, "Those damned British - they really get under your skin".
And it still came up Irish.
Do you think it was the "potatos and beer"?

Do you think it was the "potatos and beer"? Nope, it was the drunken way you manipulated your mouse (heh ... have fun with that!).
They can tell.
BTW, you should have listened to Dan Quayle when he taught everyone how to spell "potatoes." Of course that definitely would give you away as the Irish are notoriously bad spellers, especially when trying to spell potato (having no real experience with them and all). |

Well it just proves that I too could be Vice President of the United States.
Scary thought, huh? |

I’m Irish too, despite trying to avoid that answer. (Just for fun)
I think it has to be the Meat, Potatoes, and beer answer. To be fair, that meal pretty much describes meals in Germany and Eastern Europe as well. |

Ah, but I specifically avoided the meat, taters and beer on that premise. And still came up Irish.
HOW DO THEY KNOW! ARE THEY LOOKING AT ME? (boy, I’ll bet they’re sorry now....) |
