Pathetic. Talk about being ashamed. I hope their children ask them every night ’mommy, why were you so mean to the soldiers?’ |

The US isn’t the only place where incidents of anti-military bias have shown their ugly head. Just a question. Are we sure that it was “anti-military bias” that motivated these women? It wasn’t that clear in the article.
Female English villagers are notorious hags (I know, I used to date one, and she would club a man to death for jumping the queue – no matter the circumstances) and so stubborn that even when shown their error, they’re still steadfast in their position.
I don’t know. It’s just hard for me to imagine anyone wishing to evict disabled war vets from a swimming pool because they’re against the military. Then again, it’s hard for me to imagine anyone wishing to evict anyone disabled from a swimming pool, especially just because they didn’t pay… well, pay cash anyway.
Not enough information. And I am biased against English chicks for being total tools for no good reason.
Disgusting nonetheless.
Cheers.

This is not a new thing....
The Last Of the Light Brigade by Rudyard Kipling, 1891
....
The poor little army departed, limping and lean and forlorn. And the heart of the Master-singer grew hot with "the scorn of scorn." And he wrote for them wonderful verses that swept the land like flame, Till the fatted souls of the English were scourged with the thing called Shame.
O thirty million English that babble of England’s might, Behold there are twenty heroes who lack their food to-night; Our children’s children are lisping to "honour the charge they made —" And we leave to the streets and the workhouse the charge of the Light Brigade! |
