Two reasons not to support Obama
Posted by: McQ on Thursday, November 29, 2007

And it is only because he actually admitted it:
He's running hard to topple Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primary, but Barack Obama says he would hire her "talented" l husband "in a second" if he won the White House, according to Time magazine.

In an interview that hits newsstands tomorrow, the Illinois underdog - asked whether he would hire Bill Clinton for a job in an Obama administration were he to win in 2008 - said, "In a second."

"There are few more talented people in this country," said Obama, who also said he would bring on former Vice President Al Gore "in a minute," citing Gore's work on climate change and global warming.
Obviously Bill would be in a Hillary administration somewhere, but Obama's statement is a timely reminder that if a Democrat, any Democrat, takes the White House you can probably count on seeing both of those characters in the administration. Clinton would most likely be an ambassador at large. And Gore? Well Global Warming Czar sounds about right. Hold on to your wallets.

Oh, and a better reason to oppose Obama is that Opra is supporting him.

If he hires Bill, will he cut down on the number of interns hired?

"If he hires Bill, will he cut down on the number of interns hired?"

I am sure there will be a headcount befitting his position.

*Shudder* a return of the Clinton officials. Isn’t the return of Sandy Berger reason enough to keep the Democrats out of the Oval Office?

Fun with quotes:

A recent quote from Barack Obama suggests that Al Gore is viewed 60 times less favorably than Bill Clinton.

Come on - if Guiliani or Romney or anyone else makes it to the Oval Office, the smartest thing in the world they could do would be to bring Bill on board. Forget the schmuckyness, he’s probably the greatest politician and free-trade advocate of our time.

What I want to know is, "Is the Sainted One, Jim-muh The Beneficent" going to be in anyone’s cabinet...I think that would be a vote getter in certain geographic/demographic areas.
